How is reading time calculated?
Reading time is estimated at 220 words per minute. Short texts are shown in seconds; longer texts are rounded up to the next minute. Actual reading speed varies.
How are words counted?
Each group of characters separated by whitespace counts as one word. Hyphenated words count as one. Languages without spaces between words may need a language-specific counter.
