PRINT PREVIEW

About this export

Export uses your browser's Print → Save as PDF, so text stays selectable and the file is produced locally — this page never renders a PDF itself. Tables and code blocks wrap instead of clipping; headings avoid orphan page breaks.

External (http/https) images are blocked by default and shown as placeholders, so opening a document can't silently fetch remote content. Local pasted images (data:) always work. Scripts, event handlers and unsafe links in raw HTML are stripped before rendering.

How to use this tool

  1. Paste Markdown on the left and check the print preview, choosing A4 or Letter. External images stay blocked unless you enable them.
  2. Select Print / save as PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print dialog for selectable text and clean pagination.
  3. Keep wide tables and code readable — they wrap instead of clipping; headings avoid orphan breaks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF generated on a server?

No. Your browser's own Print → Save as PDF produces the file locally, so text stays selectable and nothing is uploaded.

What Markdown is supported?

GitHub-flavored Markdown: headings, lists, links, code blocks, tables, task lists, quotes and strikethrough — the same rendering as Markdown Preview.

What about images?

Local pasted images work. External web images are blocked by default so documents can't silently fetch remote content; enable them explicitly when needed.

Is pasted HTML safe?

Yes. Raw HTML is sanitized before rendering: scripts, event handlers and unsafe links are stripped, and only formatting tags survive.
