Should I choose JPG or PNG?
PNG is lossless and keeps text and line art sharp at larger file sizes. JPG is smaller and best for scans and photos; its quality slider controls the trade-off.
What do scale and quality change?
Scale multiplies the output resolution (2x doubles the pixel dimensions) and quality adjusts JPG compression from 10 to 100. Higher values produce sharper images with larger files.
Can I convert an encrypted PDF?
Encrypted and malformed PDFs are rejected. Save an unencrypted copy and try again.
